The Coca-Cola Premier League Roadshow is coming to Galway. On Sunday October 6th Irish soccer legends Brian Kerr and Kevin Kilbane will be in An Púcán talking all things football and previewing the days big game, Man Utd v Newcastle Utd.
This is the only Galway stop on the roadshow and where better than Galway’s number one place to watch a match.
Kevin Kilbane won 110 caps playing for the Republic of Ireland and has also played for English clubs Everton, West Bromwich Albion, Coventry City and Sunderland. He returned from professional football in 2012 and has worked as a pundit for RTÉ Sport, Match Of The Day, BBC Radio 5 Live and Newstalk. The Dancing on Ice Star is probably best known as one of Mayo GAA’s most vocal fans.
Brian Kerr is one of the sharpest football minds that this country has ever produced. He was the countries most successful ever underage coach and lead the national team with great distinction. The former Faroe Islands manager is loved for his vivid and often hilarious descriptions of action during his co-commentary duties. His use of highly creative Dublin slang and incredible soccer memory is often the highlight of games for fans.
An Púcán has won a number of awards for its sporting prowess, quickly establishing itself at the best place in Galway to watch sport. With 12 screens including two high-quality screens no matter where you stand you’ll have the perfect view of the game.
An Púcán is also a sponsor of local Junior side Renmore and the Western Branch of the Republic of Ireland Supporters Club.
