I spend a lot of time in Galway and always find myself coming to An Púcan. A great bar with lots to offer. Great whiskey & cocktail selection. Brilliant live music and one of the best beer or "Gin" gardens in the west of Ireland. Staff are always friendly and food is very good also. Would reccomend to anyone staying In Galway looking for a good spot for a night out.

We held our wedding party at An Pucan a few weeks ago and I cannot say enough good things about this bar! The manager Conor and all of the staff were absolutely incredible. I contacted Conor late last year from overseas about having a BBQ and party in the beer garden, he and Adam basically took control from there helped with the menu and band and made everything so seamless and easy, living overseas it was reassuring to know we were being looked after. We visited the pub the week of the party and we were so impressed with how the pub and beer garden looked. The day of the party the staff went out of their way to make us feel special, all guests raved about how delicious the food was and the band were brilliant. Many compliments also went to the bar staff for their amazing memories and quick service! If your looking for a drink, food or a party I couldn't recommend this place more highly. They were brilliant in every way.

Stayed just down the street from here. Came to have a few drinks for the night. The one bartender were super helpful, let me taste test different ciders and my bf loved the whiskey options. Theres live music in the front and more of a club feel inthe back.

This is such a fantastic bar, the best beer garden I have ever been too. I was there to watch a match, massive TV’s with a fantastic picture, beautiful & sunny and the place was hopping! We had lunch which was amazing and so reasonably priced. Staff were on the ball, friendly and good fun! Awesome job An Pucan! I’ll be back again.

Amazing place with every piece or Irish pub’s charm, and most delicious and hearty full Irish breakfast (all day breakfast) I had in the whole country! Hint: hope you’re very hungry if you order it! Otherwise ask for the mini breakfast. Would definitely come back next time in Galway.

Good food with great live music! The menu is marked with allergy information, do we could choose things that we safe for us. Everything was delicious, and the music was great and started at 6:00 pm.

Good food and service. I visited for lunch. One of the things I liked is their menu, which is affordable. They even have a trio option. The staff is friendly. And I enjoyed the cheeseburger. 😊

Love this place. Always stop in when in Galway City. Food is lovely, staff are very friendly and efficient. They often have live music in the evening and cocktail offers during the week. Lovely gin garden out the back too.
